Acceptable Use Policy

Authorized capture only

You may submit a website only when you own it or have permission to record and republish the relevant interface, text, trademarks, and media. A public URL does not by itself grant reuse rights.

Prohibited use

Do not use the service to:

• access private networks, local services, login-protected pages, or credentials;
• bypass paywalls, authentication, robots controls, rate limits, or technical safeguards;
• record personal, confidential, financial, health, or other sensitive data;
• impersonate a product owner or misrepresent an unofficial video as endorsed;
• create deceptive product claims, phishing materials, malware, spam, or illegal content;
• automate destructive actions, purchases, account changes, or messages to third parties.

Product Hunt claim links

An unlisted sample or claim link is not permission to contact, comment, publish, or act on behalf of a maker. Those actions require separate authorization.

Enforcement

We may reject a URL, stop a render, restrict sharing, preserve required audit records, or suspend an account when use violates this policy or applicable law.
